PICK ONE COMMAND
and stay with it. Be sure the family agrees upon
the one syllable word you choose.
Also, associate the command with something positive.
If you use COME, when your dog comes, give him praise
and a treat.
COME = GOODIES
NEVER call your dog to be punished. He will get mixed
feelings. GO GET your dog when it's time for a bath or time to go to the vet. If you call
your dog and don't give him his praise, but instead something he doesn't like, he will
confuse the good COME command.
